Summertime, and the living's easy...

Hey Wingsnation, been a while and for good reason...the action never stops at the Amherst Spina Center (pics prove the title).  As most of you know, we've almost been running non-stop since the end of April.  It's been weird at times to wake up at the same time on the weekends as I do for work during the week.  Refereeing and Scorekeeping has been running very well.  Who knew when we put up the ad for help wanted that so many people would come out for it?  Well, so far, a few people have decided they didn't want to work for us, and that's fine...more work for those who do.  I cannot complain about my workforce...everyone has been working diligently, and everyone seems to be flexible, which is a huge plus.  Needless to say, my refs and scorekeepers make my job fun.

I have reached a new low in house league play as I am now in the Iron Division on Thursday nights...I do wonder if that's still too high for the team I play on.  At least I am having fun again playing.  Speaking of which, playing on the "30 and over" travel team has been interesting to say the least.  So far, we've had 2 very different teams for 2 different tournaments.  Last tournament I was not very effective since I was reffing Torhs at the same time.  For Dumars this weekend, I do not have to ref, and thats a bonus.  Hopefully I can contribute a little more offensively.

This has been a good week for me...bought an SUV (I've only wanted one for say...the last 10 years) and got a puppy.  A bonus for buying my SUV...a 42" flat screen...not too shabby for one week...I just need to find time to crack some 300+ yard drives!

So, I'm tired and it's still in the 70's at almost midnight, so I'm off to dreamland...stay tuned for more updates as they become available...until next time, stay classy Wingsnation!!!
