Privacy Policy

WNY Roller Hockey (WNYRH) and its member organizations respect each individual's right to personal privacy. We will collect and use information through our Web site only in the ways disclosed in this statement. This statement applies solely to information collected at the web sites of WNYRH and its member organizations.

Part I. Information Collection

WNYRH collects information through our Web sites at several points. We obtain personally identifiable information about you ONLY if you elect to give us that information. Types of personally identifiable information we ask you to provide may include the following: Name, Date of Birth, Address, Zip Code, Phone Number, Occupation and Email Address.

When a fee is paid online, card details are entered on the secure pages of our payment processor, Stripe, and never reach our Web sites; we receive only a record that the payment was made.

We may also collect email addresses which our users divulge about other people, such as referrals. WNYRH does not actively market to children, and we never knowingly ask a child under 13 to divulge personal information.

We collect the following general data that is not personally identifiable information: IP address, type of computer used, primary browser, web service, date and time visited, and pages visited. We collect demographic data in order to make this site more useful to our visitors.

We collect this information through registration forms and automatic logging files.

We employ cookies. A cookie is a small text file that our Web server places on a user's computer hard drive to be a unique identifier. Cookies enable WNYRH to track usage patterns and deliver customized content to users.

Part II. Information Usage

The information collected by WNYRH will be used to help improve the usability and relevancy of our web site. We will not (and can not) contact users of our site who do not register and provide personally identifiable information.

We use the contact details registered users give us to reach them about their registration, their teams and the league.

Any data provided will not be sold or otherwise transferred to third parties.

We offer links to other Web sites. Please note: When you click on links to other Web sites, we encourage you to read their privacy policies. Their standards may differ from ours.

Part III. Access to Information

Users may access their own personal information and contact us about inaccuracies they may find by emailing [email protected]. Users may delete their personally identifiable information from our database by contacting us at the same address.
