2011 Fall Monday Awards

The Vekhaaks jumped out to an early lead with Justin Banaszak leading the way. Banaszak quickly established himself as the most dangerous player in the game, putting the Vekhaaks in a commanding 6-1 lead. But the Championship was not to come that easily, as Pat Gillen and Alligator Pie began to fight back, cutting the lead to 6-4. The two teams exchanged some late goals, and when all was said and done, the Vekhaaks were able to outlast Alligator Pie 8-5 in one of the most physical games of the season. It was a very exciting night and conclusion to the Monday Silver Division, and with most of the same teams returning for the next session, it should only get better from here!
